A Promising 0.40 ct E VVS1 WhiteFlash ACA Diamond!

This 0.40 ct E VVS1 WhiteFlash ACA Diamond looks gorgeous. The proportions looks great and it should return very excellent fire! On top of that, the very red IdealScope image indicates that this diamond is returning a great amount of light! This diamond is surely a performer and since it falls within the the colourless range (D-F colours) and very very slight included (VVS) clarity range, WhiteFlash has bestowed this diamond with the Collection Series title.

Now, the only thing I would want to complain about is the very very slight bending tip at the circled area (yellow colour) in the Hearts & Arrows image of this diamond shown below. But then again, this is not really a deal breaker for me as it is very minor as far as I am concerned. In fact, if you take a camera and a hearts & arrows viewer and shoot the Hearts & Arrows diamond, there is a possibility that you may even get a perfect Hearts & Arrows. What I am trying to say here that sometimes, a slight tilt in angle can cause different effect. There may be a possibility that this diamond could look better (or worse) in another Hearts & Arrows photo. But since WhiteFlash has put this image as the Hearts & Arrows image, let's just take it as it is and let the bending tip to be there because I am pretty sure it won't bring any negative impact to the diamond at such small scale. In fact, there are diamonds that have worse Hearts & Arrows that can perform pretty well against a typical GIA Triple Excllent! Overall, this diamond is already considered a diamond with high cutting precision. I will shortlist this if I am looking for a high colour & high clarity diamond! However, if you want a slightly better Hearts & Arrows, perhaps you should consider Black by Brian Gavin instead. However, the downside of it is they are considered pricier for slightly lower specs. For example, this stunning 0.405ct E VS1 Black by Brian Gavin is selling at USD 1366. Of course, it is slightly bigger, but at 0.03mm max difference, I think it is hardly noticeable. Also, they do not provide free shipping. So, this is a give and take situation.

Anyway, I always think - what if WhiteFlash's diamonds are shoot using Brian Gavin Diamond's camera, and vice-versa, will the outcome be similar? Guess we won't find out until they use similar technology to capture the photos!

Oh, btw, the calculated ideal weight for this diamond is 4.72 x 4.73 x 2.92 x 0.0061 = 0.398ct. A difference of 0.002ct compared to the weight of 0.40ct, which is negligible. Again, if you are particular about this - that the stone did not meet the 0.40ct calculated ideal weight, then this stone is not for you. But do note that this is already considered a 0.40ct for GIA standard. Personally, I will consider this 0.40ct myself as well.
