Recently I have received an email from WhiteFlash stating that they have made some changes to their policy:
1. Their trade-up policy is ONLY valid for A CUT ABOVE diamonds. In other words, you will not get this benefit if you buy Premium Select, Expert Selection, or Precision Lab diamonds.
2. Trade-up diamond must be of at least 50% greater value. For example, if the diamond is worth USD 10000 when you bought earlier, you will need to get something that is at least USD 15000 (50% extra). Check this URL for details.
