Alright, let's count the HCA:
HCA Score 1.3

Let's count the AGA/NAJA Cut Class:
As expected from a WhiteFlash ACA - 1A
Alright, let's see if the price is worth it: USD 1,693. This translates to around RM 8,100 (incl. GST). Getting a customized setting will cost between RM 1,800 to RM 2,100. Making the total to be around RM 10,200. Will I recommend this? If you buying a Hearts on Fire, Cartier, Tiffany & Co., or Lazare, then I will definitely ask you to ditch those and take this. Remember in my previous blog post, I mentioned that a Lazare 0.4x cost me around 13,xxx? And it is only an F colour, VS 1 clarity stone. That time exchange rate to USD is around 4.17! The exchange rate I am using now is 4.5! And you are getting the best 4Cs that money can buy.

Even if it is not a branded one, but a normal GIA graded stone, if the price is around RM 9,xxx - RM 10,xxx, I also won't recommend them, unless they are as good as this stone I am recommending. However, I highly doubt that we can find such stone in store, especially a 0.4x pointer D colour with IF clarity because this size is highly sought after in the market.

Now, if I don't compare to any branded diamonds or retail store diamonds, but compare to other WhiteFlash ACAs or Brian Gavin Signature Diamonds, then I won't recommend this diamond. It is simply overkill. Do you really need an IF clarity diamond? Personally, VS 2 diamonds are good enough for me and VS 1 is my preferred clarity grade. Inclusions are hardly visible to the naked eyes in the VS range, especially VS 1. It may be visible in VS 2, but this is really really very rare. And since I am talking about WhiteFlash ACAs and Brian Gavin Signature Diamonds, then you are in good hands because these super ideal diamonds are guaranteed to be eye-clean.

If you are on a budget, there are non-mainstream stores that are selling diamonds with promotions. Some of these diamonds can be very good although they most likely won't be qualified as a super ideal diamond. However, the price can be easy on the pocket for people with budget. Not all people need the top of the crop diamonds because after all, diamonds are meant for symbolic reason. There are also 2 retail stores that I will recommend to people - Wah Chan & HABIB. Simply because they are famous for their competitive prices. If you wish to buy from non-mainstream stores, Wah Chan, or HABIB, then you can follow the tips here.

If you prefer super ideals, then please visit WhiteFlash or Brian Gavin Diamonds. WhiteFlash has just restocked a range of ACAs for 0.3x ct and 0.4x ct. You may want to check them out. ;) Oh by the way, did I mention that there is a series called Black by BGD, that is polished to the finest detail? They are slightly pricier in comparison to WhiteFlash ACAs or BGD Signature Diamonds because they need more time to polish to another degree of perfection.
