This diamond is simply gorgeous. The proportions and the
optical precision are both top-notch! I love the small table at 55% and the
tall crown at 15.5% because there is more room for the light to be dispersed
into fire. The 34.5 degree crown angle shows that this diamond will have enough
fire while the 40.7 degree pavilion angle will make sure that the diamond has
strong light return! The strong light return is proven by this diamond's
IdealScope, which shows strong red. The ASET image further shows that this
diamond has no weak light return beneath the table, so it is good. You may
however noticed that the inclusion can be found on the diamond's table surface.
The good news is that this inclusion can
be maksed by the strong light return of this diamond. I am actually okay with
it.

Now, if we look at the Hearts image. It looks somewhat
dirty. This is probably due to the reflection of the cloud inclusion found at
the top of the diamond. Diamond is just like a mirror and it will reflect the
inclusions here and there, even though the inclusion is located at one spot.
This may turn down some people I believe, so do consider this point first if
you are slightly more picky. Personally, I won't mind so much because the
reflections are at the pavilion side and not facing up, so this diamond
guarantees a pretty eye-clean experience.
The video of this diamond looks great. This is one of the
things I look at when I have doubts whether this diamond's performance will be
affected by the inclusions or not. I will also take this opportunity to see if
the diamond is eye-clean. This is simply because the video is highly magnified
and we can see things clearer.
The ASET in the AGS cert looks okay enough although I wish
that they can be more "blue burst" because I simply like diamond with
great contrast because I want it to look more lively. I have read that the
extra contrast will also improve the fire of the diamond. This is probably
caused by the tiny light obstructions found around the table of the diamond and
a tiny bit of those will improve the fire and scintillation of the diamond
based on what I have read. For this diamond, we don't see any obvious light
obstructions, hence, I believe this has reduced the contrast level slightly.
But again, it is good enough. This is a classic piece a very well-done diamond.
As a matter of fact, the calculated ideal weight is exactly
the actual weight! So this diamond is certainly cut to maximize its beauty! And
I almost missed out the mighty 76% lower girdle facet percentage that will
reward the owner of this diamond with some gorgeous bold sparks! I will buy
this if I have the extra money lying around.
